2023 Eastern Nebraska Soil Health Conference

The 2023 Eastern Nebraska Soil Health Conference will be held on Thursday, February 9, from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm.  The conference will be held at the Eastern Nebraska Research, Extension and Education Center near Ithaca, NE. Registration begins at 8:30 am. The conference features innovative speakers will share their experiences with a variety of soil health practices. This is your opportunity to get your questions answered. Nebraska Local Food & Healthy Farms Conference - February 3-4, 2023 in Aurora, Nebraska

Nebraska Extension, NRCS and the cover crop industry in Nebraska have worked to develop a cover crop selector tool specifically just for Nebraska. A team of Nebraska Extension Specialists, Extension Educators, NRCS staff and cover crop industry consultants spent a year developing this cover crop selector tool. The tool was completed, but issues in completing the required programming for the tool delayed release of the tool until now.  Read more

NCR-SARE Grants

North Central Region SARE administers several grant programs, each with specific priorities, audiences and timelines. The focus for all of NCR-SARE grant programs is on research and education.  Funding considerations are based on how well the applicant presents the problem being addressed, its relevance to sustainable agriculture in the 12-state North Central region, and how well it aligns with NCR-SARE's goals.  For more information go to our NCR-SARE Grants webpage .
