Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education
The Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program has helped advance farming systems that are profitable, environmentally sound and good for communities through a nationwide research and education grants program

With more information regarding production practices, alternative crop and livestock enterprises, innovative marketing, organic certification, and highlights of local, regional, USDA and other federal sustainable agriculture activities.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service administers programs that facilitate the efficient, fair marketing of U.S. agricultural products, including food, fiber, and specialty crops.
USDA website also offers news site used to collect and interpret information that will aid producers, consumers, and distributors in the sale and purchase of livestock, meat, grain, and related products, both nationally and internationally.

A multidisciplinary outreach unit within Public Service and Outreach at the University of Georgia, works with communities of all types, within and outside of Georgia.
Communities Program aims to improve the quality of life in 26 U.S. communities (including Aberdeen, SD) where the Knight Brothers owned newspapers; program directors look to local advisory committees to provide critical insight and help identify big ideas and transformational opportunities.
Midwest Assistance Program
